What are Shiatsu and Acupressure ?

They are gentle systems of healing and health maintenance similar to acupuncture but using hands instead of needles. In Shiatsu massage the practitioner works the whole of the meridian whereas in acupressure certain points are held or massaged.

Treatment looks at the whole person and by balancing excesses and deficiencies of energy the individual is supported to find a way forward , become more in control of any illness affecting them and improve their quality of life.
